Industrial Polymers

PLAS-TEX™ – Ultra High Molecular Weight Polymer

Plastex is a general purpose, polyethylene based, industrial polymer. It is designed to handle a variety of maintenance applications where chemical attack, noise reduction, abrasion, friction, heat, and even static electricity are of concern.

Plastex comes in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and configurations. It can also be fabricated into finished parts for immediate installation.

Abrasion Resistant - able to withstand high levels of wear.

Self Lubricating - ideal for sliding applications where material flow is an issue.

Chemical Resistant - offers a high degree of resistance to many industrial chemicals.

USDA and FDA Compliant - this material is suitable for wet and/or dry direct food contact

Light Weight - roughly 12% the weight of steel.

Machinable - can be machined and formed with standard machinery tools.
