Sheffield MICRO-DUPLEX STAINLESS MDSS Lean Duplex Stainless Steel Plates, Sheets, Strips, Custom Cut Shapes
Sheffield Micro-Duplex (MDSS) offers significant increase in service life and less downtime for your machines. This hybrid stainless steel exhibits both equal parts Ferrite and Austenite. Sheffield Micro-Duplex (MDSS) provides greater resistance to Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC), in Sulfide and Chloride in Sour Service environments, than 410 and 416. In addition, it also offers nearly 3x times the strength of type 316L stainless.
